Sutimlimab for the Treatment of Cold Agglutinin Disease

Cold agglutinin disease is a very rare haemolytic anaemia characterized by antibody-mediated haemolysis, complement activation, thrombosis and poor quality of life. In recent years, our understanding the system its role in has increased dramatically. However, because there an risk infection with inhibiting at 5 3 levels, blocking classical pathway being explored instead as way to strategically inhibit while minimizing risks. Sutimlimab humanized immunoglobulin G4 antibody developed pathway. Its efficacy treating patients cold will be focus this paper.
